- Thought leaders like Dr. Ester de Jong, Martha Hernandez, and Dr. Elizet Hernández Kneisler, the day will include:
- Insightful breakout sessions by San Diego County Office of Education, California Association for Bilingual Education - CABE, SEAL (Sobrato Early Academic Language), California Newcomer Network, Center for Equity for English Learners, Cesar Chavez Foundation, English Learners Success Forum, and TNTP
- A District and County Leaders’ Roundtable featuring Azusa Unified School District, Oxnard School District, and Lawndale Elementary School District
- Networking with peers and policymakers
- Action-oriented discussions to advance equity and excellence in literacy
