Tuesday, April 14: Strengthening Multilingual Family-School Partnerships. Presented by Karen Ascencio (Senior Program Manager - Early Learning)

Designed for directors and managers, this workshop focuses on building staff capacity to foster trust and center the strengths of multilingual families. Strong partnerships with families lead to affirming environments for students and a more connected school community. Participants will leave with practical strategies and a ready-to-use presentation to support their next family engagement meeting.

✨ About the Event

Head Start and Early Head Start leaders are constantly adapting, growing, and guiding others through change. At the 2026 Managers & Directors Institute, we’re creating space for leaders to pause, reconnect, and grow with intention—together.

This year’s theme, “Lead Boldly, Bloom Together,” reflects what happens when leadership is grounded in purpose and strengthened by community. Like a season of growth, it’s about showing up fully, stretching toward what’s next, and helping others thrive along the way.
